You can get an add on that will give you the old menus.
It is annoying though.
Ah thats good, I was thinking there must be something out there that would let you do that.
I have Word 2007 here in work and it has the add-on feature biut I rarely use it.
I am familiar with the 2007 version now - it just takes a bit of getting used to. Like everything really.
Are all the alt keyboard commands the same? I assume they areā¦
Donāt use them as I am not an IT geek.
Did you not try them while you had the trial?
I didnāt actually believe it or not. Itās very rare that I would be using any of the Office programs at home, its just recently I have been trying to compile a full guide to SFIV (mostly in work) but I was planning on bringing it home to do a bit of work on it there.
Has anyone here seen this before?
Open a Word document
Now turn on Capslock
Change the font to a large size, like 48
Now type Q33NY.
(Ye probably already know, but thatās the flight code of the first plane to hit the twin towers on 911)
Highlight the text, and change the font to āwingdingsā.
Observe what happens
Weird?
Yeah, I saw that about 6 years ago.
Youāre so cool.
You, computer man, fix my pants!
Actually it was even longer ago. I remember being in school and I told all the boyos about during the computer class. Oh what fun we had, but did it really turn out bad
This is probably unbelievably simple, butā¦
I am inputting columns of data in a word doc (MS Word 2007). How to I right align the figures as opposed to how they currently left alight
For example
Item A 5000
Item B 400
Item C 5
When what I want is
Item A 5000
Item B 400
Item C 5
Ah fuck, that didnt format exactly as I wanted it to, the words will be to the left of the sheet, with the figure tabbed across to the right hand side but its not possible tab on here If you quote my post youāll see.
Did anyone understand what I meant regardless?
Throw up a screen shot
Without having to to the crude spacing that I did to get the desired effect there.
If you have it in a table then you can select the column at the top [when the icon turns to an arrow pointing down when you are just above the top cell] and then click align right.
The table outline does not even have to be visible.
Not in a table am afraid, just laid out in a word doc tabbed across as shown. Could put it in a table if needs be but would prefer an easier workaround if possible.
You canāt have two alignments in the one line without breaking it up into a table. AFAIK
Thereās no way of using the decimal tab after the data has been entered?
