An article in the Leader says that up to 100 cases have come before Limerick courts in recent weeks for people caught in possession of cocaine for personal use. The majority of them are students and the detections were over a 2 month period. That’s a crazy figure.

Ya, it says the majority of detections were at locations in Limerick city centre at night time.
Was talking to someone who works for a drug awareness service recently and the told me powders are by far the most visited topic on their site. Apparently the price of coke has dropped significantly.
Drug use among students is off the charts compared to what it was 10-15 years ago.
