World Cup 2014 Mediawatch

Jim doesnt appear to be awfully familiar with Fabio Capello.

Jim also thinks that Algeria are the only African nation to qualify for the final 16.

who or what the heck is this " skibereen eagle" Bill keeps referring to?

Hannah Hollis on The Social Hub on SBS Australia’s World Cup coverage is a fine cut of a girl, and is rapidly becoming the highlight of my mornings. I really like her presentation style as well.

Are you out there pursuing the dream of true love with the Facebook girl? Good Luck

Eh, something like that, I think, although it’s probably more likely I’ll end up drinking shite overpriced beer on my own in shite Irish pubs and becoming everything Ive ever hated. Still, I went for a run over Sydney Harbour Bridge yesterday which sure beats my normal route around by the back of Liffey Valley shopping centre.

get out of nsw mate

Youre just bitter because we smashed you in Origin, mate.

Classic Stephen Alkin there.[/QUOTE]

Pity Alkin can’t.

Likewise it’s been all downhill for Tipperary since they gave Gleeson a run out in the 2011 Munster Final.

Anti-semite.

Apologies if these have been posted here already, but just in case

Dunphy v Cunningham on John Terry

Aprés Match take off Dunphy v Cunningham on John Terry

Kenny Cunningham v Richie Sadlier

Richie Sadlier vs Kenny Cunningham and Dietmar Hamman on Colombia’s Mondragon

Hamman in the first two is just fucking hilarious

Do people watch these matches entirely oblivious to the permutations? Odd.

Whatever about the casual viewer, you’d think Alkin would have bothered his hole to acquaint himself with the permutations. There were tables/grids/lists etc handily available online which showed all possible combinations of results and impact on the final standings. He could have used that as a simple guide given he patently wasn’t able to add and subtract himself.

They were popping up on screen here. It didn’t take an awful lot to figure it out.

What did you think of Schweiny yesterday bro? Thought he looked back to form.

Yeah, I thought he was brilliant. Jones battled like a bastard in the USA midfield and I was impressed with him too. Schweiny was a class above but it was a smashing battle between them.

wtf is this?

@Sidney left to do a bit of stalking in Australia. Perfectly normal behavior.

Rio Ferdinand seems to think this game is in Rio.

Said Howard Webb was very brave not to give Hulk a pen especially with the screams of the home fans in the Maracana ringing in his ears.

He also thinks the right sided centre half for Chile is a weak link. I’m sure he has a name but Rio chose not to mention it.

A clown of the highest order is Rio
