I thought there might be a sting in new Zealand. They are a really likeable side. The captain is a thoroughly decent sort and one of the greatest world cup performers in the history of the game given the context. He quietly shook bairstows hand in the last game when bairstow was out having made a century.
I wanted the Indians to win the WC, as they are also thoroughly likeable, but it’s advantage to those hateful aussie cheats and their sandpaper.
