World Cup Observations

I know ya, but only if you are ozzie ardiles. Steven Alkin gets right out on my tits when he says it

Zuniga will be bought for big money soon.

I’m glad Chile are gone. This whole Chi-lay Chi-lee thing was beginning to get on my tits.

This match makes up for Chil-ay/Chil-ee’s exit, giving us the whole Colombia/Columbia thing and the whole Your-a-gway/Your-a-gwy thing.

The way J-Rod was receiving the ball, getting turned, dropping the shoulder and playing the ball around seriously impressed me (even before the sensational goal). It got me thinking that watching a skilful left-footed operator is a joy to behold. Aside from James Rodriguez and Messi, have any other left-footers impressed you in the tournament, chaps?

Van Persie has been ok.

Robben,
Baines.

Jean Beausejour

Again

Uruguay may well get a man sent off here.

watching uruguay struggle here makes it blatantly obvious how bad england and italy are.

James Rodriguez is the first player since Christian Vieri in 1998 to score in each of his first four career World Cup matches.

It’s a real shame Colombia didn’t get a crack at England.

Suarez asterisk beside this game.

All Uruguayans are mental

What is Marfrig?
