World Cup Round of 32 Thread
Plus one.

Brazil look like quite one dimensional and their gameplan of overwhelming the opposition with the intensity of their play is bound to come unstuck at some stage.
i actually believe that last night was the most intense we will see them given the occasion of the first game, home team factor, from 45-65 min Croatia owned them and totally controlled the game, the dodgy peno changed things completely, they look a very limited side, flashes of brilliance , yes, Neymar, Oscar are lovely footballers but here is a lot of dross there and a comedian in goals

not to be dragging on a point but you really are going to have to flesh that one out for me a bit more.
I stated that Switzerland do their own thing immigration wise, that is clearly to the benefit of their economy and should be applauded. I also mentioned one pretty scenic place near Zurich, this provoked a most bizarre, unintelligible outburst from you about licking windows on public transport in mainland Europe.

Paulinho is making the Brazilian team… that says it all for me.

made
How do people see the Spain v Holland match going tonight?
I’ll be honest, I’d take a repeat of the 2010 final, cards wise.

That save that Julio Cesar made just before Brazil went up the other end to score their third was dodgy. It was going in the centre of the goal and he made such hard work of it. Didn’t look like it moved that much. He was lucky to get away with getting such little of his body behind the shot.

25:20 here.

I agree with you 100% of Modric. That was a masterclass he gave last night and he has been a superb footballer pretty much ever since he came on the scene.

I thought Croatia were decent enough but I believe such praise of Modric is completely overboard based on last night’s game.

Please note, however, that I had 3 pints of Heineken lager before the game and some bottles of beer during it and had been up since 6.45am for spinning class.

and to think the Madridistas were calling him the worst signing ever last year… what a bunch of clueless cunts…

hows the hip pal?..did you hear a snap when you done it or did it just come on?..

I fell asleep during the second half last night. Did I miss much? I vaguely recall the penalty.

Viva Mehico!

Great belting of the Mexico national anthem there.

On paper Cameroon have a good side, especially defensively.

Mexico will smash them.

Agreed, Cameroon were absolutely steeped to qualify. They are a shambles of a side

Time to start capping these African sides qualifying for the World Cup at 2.

That goal was legitimate

Mexico much better start, getting a lot out of the wings and had a perfect goal disallowed.

Et’o is just waltzing around pointing at lads to chase mexi’s. Lazy cunt doesn’t look like he gives a fuck.

Looked onside there. Cameroon are your typically unorganised, docile looking African outfit - dreadful.

They are on their third different coach in three seasons. No unity there whatsoever
