Some man for tops.

Wayne goes ahead 3-2

First time heā€™s been ahead and his third set on the trot

He didnā€™t let his head drop and has worked his way back into the match brilliantly

Conversely, Jim hasnā€™t really dropped in standard either

Itā€™s just the natural ebb and flow of a final between two players at the top of their game

Jim nails bull to go 2-0 up in this set

Looking good to level it up at the interval

Jim took a moment to steady himself there and then hit 177, to leave 24, and then calmly finished double 12

He sweeps set 6 to leave us all level at the interval

This World Professional final is delivering and then some

That was a lovely moment before the start of the match when MC Paul Booth took a moment to remember the Father of Darts, the great Olly Croft, and the crowd spontaneously applauded

The standard of this final is a great tribute to Olly, heā€™d have loved this

This is an unusually long half-time break

Iā€™d say Wayne is downing his second pint

He has a very lived in face

A real throwback to the golden era of Welsh darts like Alan Evans and Leighton Rees

And yet he doesnā€™t pile on the pounds - a natural athlete

Welsh referee now too

And weā€™re back

The great John Gwynne is behind the mike now

He tells us this is a battle between Arsenal (Wayne) and Liverpool (Jim) supporters

Could we have a finish reminiscent of Anfield in 1989

Itā€™s up for grabs now, thatā€™s for sure

Wayneā€™s half-time pints pay off as he moves 4-3 ahead

Wayneā€™s darts enter the board with a lovely flourish

He reminds me somewhat of the great John Lowe in his style

But he lets Jim in in the deciding leg of set 8

Itā€™s 4-4!

Great drama!

Should be 5-3. Could be costly for Warren.

Brilliant 121 bull finish by Wayne

On the verge of taking a 5-4 lead now

The man from the Rhondda is 5-4 up!

Heā€™s been through his valley period and is now digging deep and mining a rich seam of darting brilliance

Williams running out of steam here.

A very lived face is right :joy: deffo spent the majority of his life in pubs

Wayne is unflappable

If youā€™re a 57 year old roofer from the Rhondda, youā€™re as hard as nails

Heā€™s now 6-4 up

Heā€™s about to scale the roof of the darting world

What does the World Cup and World Trophy champion have left

Two legs away now

This would be some fairytale

Warren on the verge of being the oldest ever world champion

One leg away now

The Quiff needs the next two legs to stay alive in this final

I like warrens shirt, very old school

The Quiff ainā€™t quitting just yet
