That was in my thinking … best of both worlds.
Cork and Cork
Did some Laois lad wipe your eye a few years back or why all the outpouring of hatred for it?
It’s fairly obvious why the lad dislikes Laois in fairness, are you just stirring now??
Meath and Kildare are fairly big kips too.
Navan is an absolute hellhole.
Mac wouldn’t be the most clued in of people.
I know he hates a poster from Laois, but I’m not clear why he hates Laois. As an example, I think Donald Trump is a fucking idiot, but I don’t have an irrational hatred for the US because of him.
Best: Cork, the city probably swings it from Kerry. There’s a lot of it too, which helps.
Worst: Kildare. A nothing county.
give me the countryside in longford any day over any major town or city
irish cities are horrible places - an ould walk down patrick st is ok once a year but none of them have any redeeming features- the pubs are horrific as well
Best: personally Limerick but looking at it objectively I’ll say Donegal. Plenty to see. Nice accents on the ladies.
Worst: Clare. If id to spend a year among them I’d be hacking at my wrists by 11:30 am on 1st January
Jumped up garrison towns

All irish urban areas really, name a passable one? Galways few touristy areas aren’t bad, parts of south dublin maybe. Small irish towns, tuam, athlone, Longford, thurles, carlow etc are suicide inducing
Dublin 2 is nice
The Gaway crowd when it comes to Galway - Pure Lolz.
Galway town is an absolute kip ffs. It’s a one street little town surrounded by roundabouts and horrendous traffic. County Galway is a smashing spot but the City has nothing going for it.
Galway City is a nice city as far as Ireland goes.
The traffic is diabolical but I enjoyed my time there and Salthill is brilliant when the weather is nice.

The best of a bad bunch
There were a few Ulster Italians in Galway when I was there, we are a much bigger community than one would suspect.

Ulster Italians in Galway are to fork lift driving as Brazilians are to meat factories it would seem
Not everyone can operate a forklift, mate - it’s very artisan.
