Neville broke his ankle in early 1986 at a cabbage patch Lansdowne Road in Jack Charltonās first home game . He was out for the season . Liverpool won a tainted Double as a consequence . His replacement Bobby Mimms was not at Nevilleās level .
Bobby Mimms stood in for Flowers the year Blackburn won the league for a crucial period in Jan/Feb and was very good. He was called Booby Mimms by the yids when I lived in London and he played for them. He was god awful.
Southall was the best goalie in the English top flight in my lifetime, Schmeichel came close and thereās a decent crop at the moment but I would only rate Daseyev and Buffon higher in my lifetime,
