stop, was there for the KIB Munster final a few years ago. Man it was some shithole. Another place the Celtic Tiger forgot.
Gort has improved since the Brazilians arrived, I feel sorry for them haveing to deal the shitholeienees of the place

Plenty of soulless villages in and around North Tipp, the likes of Rearcross, Ballinahinch and the Silvermines…Moneygall as well but that is Offaly
Oh the Celtic Tiger didn’t forget about Kilmallock, the locals just wisely decided they didn’t want to sell out their hurling field for some pie in the sky apartment development. There’s a Ladbrokes in Kilmallock now too. Amazing scenes.
Is that the first bookies Kilmallock has seen? I thought there was an independent there too, is it McCauliffes or something?

Bruff last week, Dublin this week, Scandinavia next week, Galway two weeks back. You really get around.
Kev, I’m going to claim some local north Cork knowledge here, and declare that Buttevant is by far the biggest shithole in the area. As someone said, driving through the place is like going through a timewarp. My favourite is the shop that has a ‘Coke-a-Cola Is It’ sign outside it. The people are generally unpleasant, and I suspect much of the trouble you encountered in Mallow may have been caused by Buttevant lads. As far as I know, that’s where they would socialise. On top of all that, they host the Cahermee horse fair, thereby bringing some true scum into the locality for a week. The pubs in all the neighbouring parishes close their doors while these cunts are around. In summary, Buttevant is a shithole.
Its also full of protestants I believe.

Kilrush is a lovely town but destroyed by about 6 families of absolute scum. Shannon - yeah what a hole. Has improved but a lot of Nordie dregs moved in there back in the day. Ennis isnt that bad either. Granted there are a few scumbags but everywhere will have that. Clare towns/villages arent that bad. One of those east Clare villages - is it Bodyke Puke? is a shit hole - boarded up buildings all over the village looking like they would fall down.
New Ross is despicable, Tipp town, Waterford (very bad these days), Carrick on sewer, kilmallock, . Actually most Irish cities bar Galway are dumps. Have been out in Mullingar a few times. The amount of women thrown into the Paddy wagon one night was serious. When you think about it there are a lot of scumbags in Ireland.
Quilty was full of little tards the times i was there. If Clare is so wonderful, why leave?
I always liked Killmallock myself.
Ah harsh, Rearcross and Silvermines are alright spots. I had a few pints in Silvermines just a few weeks back. I don’t think I was ever in Ballinahinch, and you know what your getting with Moneygall, when you have to try to pretend your in Tipp then you know you’re fucked.
