Kilkenny used to be one of the cleanest big towns in the country and always did well in the tidy towns rankings. Fucking hens and stags from dubbelin have the place destroyed.
better to destroy a shithole like kilkenny than to ruin our hometown
to add to our cleanest town successā¦ the Wexford Opera House has received yet another award this time the Best Cultural Building by Royal Institute of Architects Irelandā¦ this prestigue building has also won the RIBA Europea 2009 Award and BDs public building of the yearā¦

Keith Williams and the OPW won the award for the best cultural building for their lauded Wexford Opera House, which has already won an RIBA Europea 2009 Award, and BDās own 2008 public building of the year award.
Thereās an opera house in Wexford? When did this happen?
Fooking fantastic news.
You must be delighted to see Wexford get Royal approval alright.
Iāll gratefully welcome praise for Wexford from any esteemed organisation thatās an expert in its field.
The home of rugby won one as well.
What did the RDS win Runt?
Eh, is Rugby not the home of rugby?

wexford couldnāt compete with northern towns in the cleanest town race.
is the award given to the opera house organised on a 32 county basis or is it purely for southerners?
No, they gave it to the world. Do you not watch Sky Sports?
Did you not read the papers pre April of this year? Heart beat of the nation, home of rugby, Limericks lifeblood, etc etc
Watch it? I fooking work for it.
I remember something about a Rugby match stopping crime alright.
Anyway, that award was done based on an Internet poll - reminiscent of the Wolfe Tones winning the greatest song of all time
Touch
I never knew a Darts commentator would be any use at a GAA fantasy football competition though
I often browse the Wexford People online as Iām winding down on a Friday afternoon and, I must say, this is fucking fantastic news and has put me in a great mood ahead of the weekend.

Two Wexford accountancy students in the top five
Wednesday August 05 2009
A WEXFORD student came up tops in national accounting technician examinations when she scored the highest marks.
Students from Wexford performed exceptionally well in this yearās national rankings of the Irish accountancy body.
Two students ranked in the top five in the country. Michele Hayes of Drinagh scored the highest marks overall while Maria Murphy of Crossabeg was placed fourth.
Accounting Technicians Ireland has seen the numbers of students taking its qualification more than double in the last five years. The organisation has over 4,000 students and its syllabus is taught in more than 80 colleges nationwide.
In Wexford, they are currently enrolling new students in Genesis Business College and in Coliste Abbain, Adamstown.

I hope they can survive on the job seekers allowance
Not so much Leinster or the Eastern Seaboard but great to see a Wexford man captaining the Irish team tomorrow night.
And The Wexford Echo exclusively revealed last week that thereās a brothel operating from a house in Rowe Street directly across from the church and close to āthe offices of The Wexford Peopleā. Great days to be a Wexican.
