Yet More Glory For The Eastern Seaboard, Leinster and Wexford

Another TD for the Wexford Eagles and on the 2nd down of their next possession the North Dublin Pirates QB throws a howler of an interception. Embarrassing show so far from the Fingal men whose offensive and defensive linemen appear to be the same players.

Name the location @Bandage

Ferrycarrig. You at a wedding @Mac?

Is it Ferrycarrig?

Well played gents

New Ross Town Council isnā€™t going to let those fat cats in Brussel tell them that they canā€™t call up the ESB and Telecom Eireann to get a connection move to the top of the queue or make sure that a favourable voter gets a nice Council house.

The new bypass of ferns, camolin and Eniscorthy opened today. In a great move to ensure free flowing traffic, they have reduced the Eniscorthy to Wexford road limit from 100km to 80km. Also, to help the flow now the villages are now bypassed, they have replaced the pedestrian lights in the last remaining traffic slowdown spot of Oylegate with full traffic lights.

We couldnā€™t have too much forward progress, need to keep some stupidity involved and piss road users off.

The queues going into Oilgate / Oylegate / Oylgate this evening were supposedly ridiculous. Why they couldnā€™t build it on an extra 10km to come out the far side of the village is beyond me.

Reducing the speed limit from 100km/h to 80km/h is standard practic when this happens. The old N11 is now downgraded from a National route to a Regional route which has an 80km/h limit unless Iā€™m mistaken?

Assume it is to drive traffic to the new motorway.

The motorway route from Gorey down is actually shorter than staying on the old road, so there would be no reason not to use it if travelling from Dublin. But if you are in Enniscorthy and wanting to go to Wexford, there is no way to get onto the motorway other than driving a few miles north to then have to get on a 4km slip road to get on the motorway, so would make no sense to do that. Changing a previously 100km hour road to 80km is odd, but maybe @mac is right. The traffic lights in Oylegate are going to be a fucking disaster though. Solve one major problem and all they are doing now is creating it themselves at the next available village.

I suspect they will do something as dumb now in Clonroche too. The New Ross bypass road links onto just before Clonroche and then just after Clonroche links onto the N30 link road to get onto the M11. Clonroche has no traffic lights now and will be the only blockage on this route.

Fact. should make it a pedestrian crossing as they should have done with Ferns eons ago

@Gman just saw your other postā€¦

they removed the pedestrian crossing to install lights? the cunts

yup! Absolutely ridiculous. To finally get a bypass in and then to put in traffic lights just after you get off the bypass. Dumb shit.

Godā€™s count(r)y.

@Rocko @Mac - passed on Tara Hill and went to Cahore instead.

@Rocko how do I change the orientation on those pictures?

Never realised this page was about! Heading on a day trip to Carlingford Lough tomorrow, does that count as eastern seaboard?

Give @caulifloweredneanderthal a shout and heā€™ll make sure youā€™re well looked after up there

We had thought of heading for Down, but will do that on a later date. Iā€™m up the walls on Friday, were going to stay in Portaferry. Another time.
