My life partner just got the booster in Croker. Iām down for next midweek in Swords but Iām on the lookout for a Croker cancellation before then. Itāll be such a relief once we all get it. I donāt think theyāre rolling it out to under 5s until late January/early February.
What number shot is this pal? 4th or 5th?

At this rate they will have to set up covid booster shot recovery clinics somewhere in the city. These folks are addicted to these boosters.

Fellow posters, I take no pleasure in saying this but we need to face facts. The covid, flu and vomiting situation is now completely out of control. This is the sickest the country has been in over 100 years far worse than during the first lockdown.
Our health system cannot cope with these numbers of sick people. Our hospitals have been described as being like warehouses full of patients. How long before they are warehouses full of corpses? Every day is worse.
The country is sleep walking into catastrophe. On the bus today I was the only one wearing a mask, I was fucking seething.
It hurts me more than it hurts you but we need to lockdown the country until this wave passes, probably in the warm weather. Pubs are where the action happens, they should be the first to go. As we speak plane fulls of Chinese kamikaze germ bombers are flying in from the orient, spreading their virus. All flights from China should stop until their vaccination rate reaches a reasonably safe level. A 5km travel zone should be enforced around every residence with no unnecessary travel allowed outside it.
Thank you for reading my thoughts. I wasnāt aware that others had come to the same view because I had put this meddlesome thread on ignore. I canāt ignore it any longer. If I were a good man I would start a political group called āLockdown Ireland Nowā or something like that but I canāt be bothered because Iāve got the flu.
