Is he gone or what lads??
SSN are reporting it, its nowhere else yet.
Plenty of links between SSN and Newcastle in the past, Iād be inclined to believe them on this one.

The link last night surpassed them all. Joey Barton texting yer man on SSN to tell him he was staying at Newcastle, and shit-eating grin on him as he read it outā¦
Its on Sky News
Shay Given, a very good 'keeper, has given (pun intended) the best years of his career to this shambolic club. He could have won medals elsewhere.
If this had of happened last week, Iād say Given would have went to Arsenalā¦they have been sniffing around for a whileā¦
The last time Keegan left Newcastle he famously recalled how Douglas Hall called him back and he thought Hall was trying to make a last ditch effort to stop him quiting but Hall just asked him for his petrol card back! It seems he has left Ashley on worse terms.
Ashley apparently publicly blew 5M in a London Casino last week and Keegan brought it up when he was being asked to resign.
Keeganā¦not exactly mr stick it out is he??? How many times has he left a club now???
The problem wit Newcastle is they are a big club in an area with no other clubs, Sunderland isnāt Newcastle and Boro are nowhere near Geordie land. Newcastle as a club, actually believe they are bigger than they are, but u canāt be a big club if you havenāt won anything major since the 50ās.
They are always over hyped to be a huge football club with great tradition etc etc, but thats not the reality of it. There are far greater clubs with greater traditions than Newcastle. It is the same old same old that we hear from Funderland fans that tell me what a big club they are, even tho for the most part of last season they didnāt fill their ground.

Sunderland were the 5th best supported team in the EPL last season, Newcastle were 3rd
press release from NUFC denying they gave KK the bullet
you really couldānt make it up now

I was reading about Ashley somewhere that apart from the money he spent on Newcastle heās pissed away close to 250m on currency spread betting. Heās probably sepnt almost as much on beer and takeaways too by the look of him.
He made something like 1bn from selling his sports store chain but judging by the shit going on since he took over Newcastle heās not quite the businessman hw appeared to be.
The fans are going nuts but sure heāll bring in Shearer now and buy a round for everyone in the stadium and theyāll love him again.
dennis wise installed favourite to take over, watch him crash and burn. This should be good comedy!
As art says, theyāre now denying they sacked Keegan. I agree with Jugs too in that the Ashley gimp is most interested in being popular and getting acclaim from the supporters. He probably saw them all arriving at the ground today when news about Keegan first broke and listened to their pro Keegan chants and decided to change his mind and keep him. Gas.
Special K has officially resigned now. Probably gave up the right to any compensation by walking too instead of staying on until he was sacked. I think heās a genuinely good guy so I actually feel sorry for him. That Ashley guy needs to find some Arab investor and get out there quick smart because the supporters wonāt accept this too readily.
Not a shock really. Has Keegan ever been sacked from a club?
Think heāll still go for constructive dismissal - heās obviously had plenty of advice from the LMA on the issue. Either that or theyāve paid him a huge compensation fee already.
Yep, thatās the route heāll probably go down. EPL managers are really struggling to accept this ācontinentalā type system where the managers donāt have responsibility for player recruitment. Pundits, journalists and most of the managers themselves all point to Ferguson, Wenger and the likes all having complete control over first team affairs and the success of their regimes as a result. Now you have Keegan and Curbishley walking away over interference as the new trend becomes more apparent. For example, I doubt Mark Hughes will be having much say in who Manchester City sign from now on either.
Heās probably thankful that he put his hands in the the gloves (pun intended) at a young age. (Cheap pop at farmer intended).
Newcastle are fighting back in the PR row with Keegan. Itās gonna be a losing battle as the supporters want to lynch that Ashley guy.

NUFC wished, at all times, to keep any dispute that it had with Kevin Keegan private.
It is therefore disappointing that information has reached the media through unnamed sources and a briefing has been given by the League Managers Association that could give rise to a misleading impression amongst the Clubās fans.
Newcastle United have no desire to engage in a war of words but inaccurate reporting of factual matters and inaccurate allegations have to be corrected.
It is a fact that Kevin Keegan, on appointment on 16th January 2008, agreed to report to a Director of Football and to the Board.
It is a fact that Kevin Keegan worked within that structure from 16th January 2008 until his resignation.
It is a fact that Kevin Keegan, as manager, had specific duties in that he was responsible for the training, coaching, selection and motivation of the Team.
It is a fact that Kevin Keegan was allowed to manage his specific duties without any interference from any Board member.
It is a fact that Kevin Keegan agreed only to deal with the media in relation to Club matters relating to the Team and not to communicate with the media in relation to the acquisition or disposal of players.
It is a fact that NUFC is a business and operates, like all businesses, with financial constraints.
It is a fact that NUFCās financial constraints inform its transfer dealings.
The Board of NUFC have responsibility to ensure that the club is able to meet its commitments which include the wages and the transfer fees for players.
The structure at NUFC is clear, and has been clear from 16th January 2008.
Itās not over yet!
Keegan and Ashley to meet tonight in London!
As if they werenāt a big enough joke already. If Ashley is on his knees sucking Keegan off to convince him to return then it shows what a spineless cunt he is. As soon as the fans get on his back what does he do? āhmmm the fans will like me again if i bring back their heroā. In Roy Keaneās words āThe manās a clownā.
