You'd want your head examined or have daughters like Hopper McGrath, to manage a Ladies team thread

The LGFA and Camogie are some shit shows. Not sure the GAA should be going anywhere near them.

The Camogie crowd scheduled the all star tour for 21 and 22 winners to Calgary in May, a week before the start of the championship :grinning:

The court of public opinion are demanding the GAA do sadly. I’d be setting up a Vichy government in both before I do.

But this is beyond the pale, the feeling at grassroots level is off the charts.

Surely some win at all costs manager will find five or six lads to play womens football for the year and walk the championship.

So he will.

That seems likely. It’s the obvious outworking of this decision unfortunately.

This decision is anti-woman. It’s women who will suffer whatever direct consequences there are, and players, not administrators.
A moral, sporting, and legal rat trap they’ve put on their own bedroom floor.

They’ve betrayed the people they were put there to protect and administrate. It’s unthinkable. Unfathomable. It’s GUBU.

They are making a decision that doesnt necessarily need to be made. How many trans women players are there? To play to the gallery and make themselves all inclusive, they have alienated a lot of people with this. And for probably little benefit. There was the trans player in that Div 8 ladies match in Dublin, but not much about it since. There does need to be a discussion on this, but I think launching into letting them play with minimal requirements is not the way to do it. The South Park trans woman episode clip will get an airing again with this.

They all need to resign immediately

Fair fucks to them

I trust the Camogie administrators will still be able to go and have a good ol time

Shambles

Does anyone know if the LGFA Communications manager has had a chance to comment on this yet ?

Take them over. Sack every administrator and put Spike in charge

An unfortunate headline here

I’d say the LGFA meeting was made up of about 3 strident voices, 40 ladies who were behind the printers, and the remainder would rather be anywhere else but went out of duty.
“Legal obligations” hmmm
