The game I referenced in the club competition thread, the ref was a lucky boy, as one side was down three points, scored a good goal that came back off the stanchion, and the umpire who was about two feet away didn’t see it so play continued. Luckily the team went on to win.
I must say the teams involved were both full of grafters, who gave the referee about a tenth of the abuse he’d get in Manchester.
I know I shouldn’t have but I broke my hole laughing at that one.
