Didnt Laois have it this year with a minor football final on the same day as a leinster club game for Portlaoise? Nevermind agreeing with camogie, they cant even manage themselves!
That was absolutely shocking. There was a bit more going on there than was obvious but even still. Dreadful.
I had some entertaining dealings with the LGFA a few years back when my daughter was still playing juvenile Gaelic football. There was all kinds of messing around going on in her club, preferential treatment and rule breaches which they were pulled up on. Essentially coaches, most of them were doubling up as Executive officers running the club to their own set of rules.
Club hierarchy didn’t want to know about it. It went beyond that too and the organisation in general didn’t want to know. Organised and mobilised parents with pitchforks for an AGM then, staged a coup and ousted all the miscreants.
An utterly useless organisation was what I took out of it all.
A sinkhole into which the dregs of volunteers end up. Kinda like the useless cunts you send into a county board to get rid of them around the place.
Helicopter tiger mom alert.
Hard to argue with any of this.

A few double sessions required from dublin to shore up that defence
Corner back subbed immediately.
a couple of lads that should have had heir heads examined.
I’m taking Johnny Clearys side anyways. A sound man.
Both men agreed to shake hands when they were asked to do so by Inspector O’Sullivan.
Will ye shake hands lads?

@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy will hate this
Fabulous, we have some Ukrainian girls on our basketball team, pure 100%ers
…must be easier for them to get on the team than into your back room
There’s a big expose on this coming on Sunday - a joint investigation by your man Tighe from the Sunday Indo and RTE. It’ll be in the paper and then RTE have an expose too that night. There was a reporter talking about it on the radio yesterday and she says it centres around the Irish ladies national soccer team of the 90s and that there’s up on 30-40 past players came forward with allegations that there were inappropriate sexual advances/behaviour from certain coaches.
Sounds like someone’s goose is cooked
Sure the FAI has proven itself to be rife with corruption, incompetence and nepotism. Inappropriate behaviour of a sexual nature is hardly surprising.
