The square ball rule. Which is what the discussion is
The Galway captain scrubbed up very well on the RTE news there.
The fucking state of Marty in that interview
I’m going home to see all the commotion now on rte2 plus 1
God the keepers in the LGFA are absolutely hopeless.
Based on the highlights alone the junior was definitely the best of the 3 games.
Two Galway goals were top class
I was chatting to a soccer coach once who was convinced that women’s brains can’t process certain angles and that’s why the female goalies let in so many howlers . Reckoned people were afraid to point it out but he reckoned it was a fact ![]()
Worse than fucking Lammens there
Outside of the boot finish is class. It’s why it’s sad seeing good footballers going off playing AFL, they’ll never be as skilled as that with oval ball.
Skill isn’t important in AFL
It’s the squealing that scrambles their brains. They can’t help it, and the more it scrambles their brains the more they squeal, and the more their brains get scrambled. So its a vicious circle.
It’s science, so it is.
Like in school you stick the shit one in goals.
Hard to believe, but i once was that kid.
I always found it hard to understand how women playing at the highest level can let the ball drop in over their heads so often. Apparently goalkeeping coaching barely exists in women’s football. There are no keeper coaches attached to most setups and experienced former keepers doing sessions with up and coming young keepers just isn’t a thing. All the typical stuff you associate with goalkeeper development just isn’t there.
Jaysus. Just keep your eye on the ball, practice a bit. It’s not brain surgery/roasting coffee beans
Your man reckoned they struggle to read the flight of the ball
Too easily distracted by gossip, shiny things, latest fashions, etc.
Mascara
Could be worse, a team could have Peter Shilton as a goalkeeping coach.
