I suspect when the dust settles there will be a lot of ladies bitterly realising they’ve been railroaded into missing a final to suit a few dual players, well one dual player really.

There was a similar case about two years ago in Limerick. A junior football final clashed with a camogie one. The LGFA blinked and moved the game after claiming for weeks it couldn’t be moved. They moved it all right to the following week and the throw in time 9 O Clock on a Sunday morning. That softened their coughs.
