I think this thread has evolved to include other ladies’ sports and not just football.
One of the things holding back ladies’ GAA over the years has been headbanger administrators and how they organise themselves, or not.
Great example here. Sarsfields (Galway) v Slaughtneil (Derry) in the AI club camogie semi final was due to take place in Cavan but the pitch is unplayable. The game has been refixed to take place in Gorey (Wexford) instead.

Is/was the pitch in gorey behind a big high wall with massive evergreen trees , on your left hand side as you came in form Dublin ? I remember a place in wexford but can’t remember which town …
The GAA need to go into the Camogie and LGFA and annex them. It’s the only way the One Club model can work, despite all the fuckology the GPA and LGPA come out with. They are a fucking thunderous disgrace.
