Camogie player ‘chooses’ to drop a free short from her own 65 when time is up and a point wins it. People on Twitter are saying she hit the ball too high for it to be a shot at goal. Gas cunts.
He clearly blew the whistle before the ball was won for the ‘goal’ strike.
His other option was to stop her taking the free. That probably wouldn’t have gone down well either.
There is no requirement to wait for the ball to go dead or change direction or anything like that.
He doesn’t have to tell her it’s the last puck either but with the big clock there in the corner it was fairly fucking obviously close to the end.
Maybe he did tell her to score direct in any case. Because we don’t see it in the clip.
