You'd want your head examined or have daughters like Hopper McGrath, to manage a Ladies team thread

Wexford starting to create chances now. Aishling Murphy coming in to the game. Need to get Bernie Breen on more ball too.

Wexford took a point there 3 points down with literally 20 seconds left on the clock. Braindead

It was so obvious as soon as Wexford were awarded that last free that yer wan would take the point even though it was blatantly obvious they needed to go for the goal. There was never going to be nearly enough time for another chance.

I mean hello, look up at the clock, like.

Women’s football, never change.

Is Aisling Donoher the player of the match the mother of the “Do It For Dan” child?

This wan has a voice rougher than 40 grade sandpaper.

The misogynists are out today

Silly decision. There was a decent chance she’d have scored a goal from there too if the Laois keeper lived up to the stereotype. A brave effort in the end from the Wexford ladies. The sin-bin nearly swung the game in their favour.

That’s some piss-awful effort by the Meath goalkeeper.

I’d blame the defender more. Quick 1-1 back for Meath

Vicky Wall is a cheat code

Colm O’Rourke needs to call up Vicki Wall to his first Meath squad.

Cracking atmosphere in wemberly

The Meath women are far tougher than their men.

Pictures of the referee slightly losing control of the euro final, and the irate ladies are giving me PTSD.

Isn’t there a Gaeltacht in Meath?

In Nobber I think yeah. The infamous Blathnaid is from there as far as I know.

There are two small Gaeltacht areas, Rathcairn near Athboy and Baile Ghib which is just outside Navan. Vicki is from neither, she’s from Dunboyne. I think she may have went to a Gaelscoil. But still fair play to her.

The German ladies will surely come out on top in this Euros final here, most likely on a penalty competition. It has the air of a women’s re-creation of the men’s Euros final.

Razor Ruddock for England could have done better for the German goal
