No war movies?

Vertigo

Three is a ridiculously short number. Another day I’d pick three different films. If I had a favourite war movie it would probably be the Longest Day, though Shenandoah is a good one too.

Zulu is a very good war movie. If it’s ever on around Christmas. I’d always give it a watch

All quiet on the western front is good. But proper depressing. Young lads simply sent to be slaughtered for absolutely no reason.

  1. Get carter (1971)
  2. Das boot
  3. Goodfellas

Love the theme from get carter.

The less said about the remake, the better

Never saw it - is it bad?

Sylvester stallone as carter and a happyish ending. Even john c mcginley cant save it from being terrible. Caine is clearly in it for another tremendous house

Heat
Goodfellas
Pulp Fiction

Haha

The Good the Bad and the Ugly is technically a war movie.
