The wedding scene in Deerhunter is about 8 hours too long
Saving Private Ryan is the best war film. Platoon would be the only one that even comes close. Canât warm to Apocalypse Now

I love Full Metal Jacket, unfortunately it probably peaks in the middle rather than the end which is not ideal

Like has been said, you could change your favourite movies again and again. You could go by year or decade, by subject, by actor, by director⌠I will always go and see a Tarantino movie, always! Love his movies even with all the self-indulgence. Martin Scorsese, brilliant. Spielberg, brilliant. Love Tom Hanks, Michelle Williams is excellent. The lists can go on and on.

I loved the Shaka series from the 70s that aired on sky back in the dayâŚ
There was a new Zulu king appointed recently too⌠His bloodline still going despite @ChairmanDan and his crew trying to wipe them out.
You should watch Come And See, now thatâs a war filum.
The Big Lebowski is a terrible filum.
For the Coen bros Iâd recommend Millers Crossing, superb.

Hitchcock was a right weirdo but made some brilliant films.
Psycho is my favourite. The way the plot went another way at the start was superb.
Watched it in itâs entirety last Xmas. Great viewing
