Doubtful given the fact that he tracked the best forward on the opposition wherever they played in the full forward line.
You devalue a team by moving players around to accommodate them. best players in the best positions as you’ve nothing, or relatively nothing, to gauge how they would have went there.
They arent going out and playing or anything, dont be worrying about devaluing them. I just felt both Molloy and Wallace would be deserving of being on a side such as that.
unfortunately @gman i believe @croppy_boy to be correct, Molloy only played wing back in championship in his so called debut year in 06 ( i am reliably informed). He was then converted to a corner back for the first round against Kildare in 09 after missing 08 due to injury. After that game he would ahve been tasked with marking the oppposing team’s most dangerous man rather than a set position e.g. McNamee and Kilbride against Offaly and Roscommon.
To say Wallace was caught for pace is unfair he was a very astute reader of the game and i rarely, if ever remember him getting skint. I am a little shocked that we have such a dearth of corner backs
Nordie KK team, shower of cunts that they are but you’d have to say that they are way better hurlers than the good people of the south.

Memory runs from about 1993… A strong mixture of rose tinted glasses from childhood memories, selection based on one or two outstanding seasons/games, and a couple of actual brilliant hurlers.

Lots and lots of honourable mentions especially in the forwards
A few tough choices, no Nicky as his best days were behind him when I started going to games. He always seemed to be injured in the 90s. Skippy unlucky to miss out also. I used to have huge time for Eddie Enright also.
