Zlatan - a thread for the former non believers to apologise

What a player.

He truly is a king amongst men

What he playing last night?

Yes, he turned the game around in the second half. He was excellent.

+1.

Only got in home for the last three minutes so was wondering.

EDIT: I still think he’s shit by the way. Just didn’t see the game last night.

From a laymans viewing.

Like his teammates, he was anonymous in the opening half as Milan were overrun by Arsenal, but when Arsenal blew up after 10 minutes of the second period he grew into the game and was by far the best Milan player on the field over the 90 as he took a hold on proceedings winning most of what came up to him. However, partly due to the paucity of players around him, he was too often forced to take it on himself, winning freekicks or losing possession in equal measure.

Carved out one great chance for himself on his right foot wide on the right which the keeper dealt with, but for the most part was ploughing a lone furrow all night and this may have contributed to his decision to shoot on sight on a few occasions instead of passing or taking it on further. Was gifted a magnificent chance to finish the tie when the Arsenal keeper left a pass to Vermaeelen short but he shot instead of steadying himself and finishing as you’d imagine he can. His decision to snap at the opportunity saw the chance go abegging as it went a foot or so wide with the keeper flailing.

Took a freekick or two, but they came to nowt. Its unlikely any non believers will have been converted last night.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a “clarifying phone call” with a Sky Sport Italia journalist after their ugly altercation.

The striker was giving an interview on the touchline after Milan’s 2-0 victory over Lecce and seemed ill-tempered when talking to Vera Spadini.

“There are many people who talk without knowing anything and they would do better to shut up.”

Moments later, when speaking to the Mediaset Premium crew, he continued to glare at Spadini and flicked his hair band at her.

He then swore, asking “what the **** are you looking at?”

This evening, Milan released a statement confirming there had been “a clarifying phone call” between Ibrahimovic and Spadini.

“They cleared up the misunderstanding that occurred after the touchline interview following Milan-Lecce.”

Ignorant cunt.

Zlatan cleans house yet again
