The ecstasy of winning an AI encapsulated brilliantly here.

Is the lad on the left there (to Cregan’s right) Pat O’Donovan (not the politician) but the Rathkeale/NCW auctioneer, cc @Copper_pipe @Julio_Geordio and other West Limerick posters

Had seen that photo a million times but never noticed him

It would be

Think he’s actually a Clare native is he? Would have known him a bit years ago

Havent a notion to be honest. I’d see him around NCW alright but thats all.

Highway robbery

An absolute meltdown

Very quiet in here…

The Limerick hurling crew are all over on the rugby threads fulminating over Coach Schmidt’s squad selection for the upcoming World Cup and the bidding process for the 2023 World Cup.

Puma Kings used to be the rolls royce of boots back in those days. If you saw a fella sporting them you knew he is was operator

I got a smashing pair of Diadora around Christmas 93 along with the Liverpool away kit. I’d say the parents must have got an inheritance that year or had some extra money (actually the mother’s stepmother did die so there might have been a few quid)

We went into Limerick Sports Store a week before Christmas and I saw these boots. Think they were £30, down from something like 60/70. Was expecting the kit on Christmas morning but the boots caught me on the hop. Probably my favourite pair of football boots that I ever had.

Quigley did untold that day in first half, but I think he was very quiet in second?

the greatest meltdown in sport, anywhere

There was a young boy 9 or 10 I’d say being held in his fathers arms as the Liam McCarthy was been presented tho the Offaly team that day. The boy was clearly ill but he was crying with tears of happiness for his team. I was happy for that child and it didn’t seem so bad after that.

Credit for making a comment, mate.
