Christ that was an awful penalty.
Another Skyism that’s annoying me is the credit Gomes is getting for “doing his homework” on Drogba yesterday. The graphic before the shot showed that Drogba had put every penalty the other way. So Gomes guessed the opposite direction to all the facts and we’re told it was because he did his homework and then figured Drogba would change.

Great win to put United back top. Defence was superb all night. United should have put the game to bed in the 2nd half with the chances Nani, Anderson and of course Rooneys peno miss. 2 points ahead and a game in hand. If United can avoid defeat against Chelsea they will be in a good way for the Christmas period.

Not really for this thread, but there was a shock of shocks in the World Club championship today, time nearly up and African Champions Mazembe are 2-0 up against Internacional of Brazil in the semi, winners play Inter saturday. At 1-0 up after 65 minutes they were still 4.0 to win :o Just put on a fiver due to an expected fight back, but it didn’t happen. Anyway, serious result for African football, these Brazilians were taking this competition very seriously.

To try to save them some wasted time. Some fellas are taking such things really seriously, and might feel that having a better “reputation” than me is going to improve their lives. I’m trying to get them to cop the fuck on, twaats. But on top of that, whatever about a post where i’m slagging someone off, or winding them up or something, that was a pretty innocuous post.
It is funny that i got minus 4 on that post now though, which i totally expected.

the latest report i’ve read is that they are pursuing an english manager and have a candidate in mind. think that rules out diego, jol and MON i suppose.
Hadnt heard that report. Fair to say Diego was a bit far fetched mind you, would say a lot more about the mindset of them over if they even thought someone like Diego would consider it. I’d seriously doubt how much money these fellas have. Poor ol Jack Walker will be spinning in his grave.
