I have Bent as captain. It could possibly win me the week as he has an assist already.

City can top the table at Christmas with a win on Monday weather permitting.

Why the fuck is Owen Coyle still wearing shorts on the sideline?! :o

Wow. What an incredible save by Craig Gordon today.

He’s still a cunt though.

Here’s Gordon’s save. Some reflexes.

There’s obviously an element of luck/instinct about that but he does get his hand in the right place with his eyes on the ball and it’s a really strong hand to get it over the bar from there.

MOTD 2 shoule be epic tonight

Tevez has withdrawn his transfer request and starts tonight.

Coleman assists for Cahill to head Everton in front.

I have both on fantasy team, Cahill will be my captain, i might actually make 25 points!!!

check this kev, a perfectly reasonable answer to a question similar to mine from the rugby thread the other day.

Some amount of empty seats at this City v Everton game with the home team looking to go top of the league…

City bottle it again.

United top at Christmas with only 16 games played.

25 shots to 4, 8 on target to 2 and 11 corners to 0 and they Manchester City still lost. Everton got their goals early and thoroughly deserved their lead but Manchester City absolutely battered them from around half an hour onwards. The sending off after an hour just further ensured that it was a non-stop procession towards the Everton goal but Howard made some excellent saves and they put their bodies on the line too. Really gutsy stuff from them and the players enjoyed the celebrations in front of their supporters at the end. Those kind of backs to the wall away wins are class.

Rafa’s been sacked by all accounts.

Richard Dunne has been told he is now th choice centre back at Villa
