I hope the poster that made the little mistake above now knows that this means he knows nothing about soccer and his opinion here is worthless for ever more.
You don’t go to enough LOI games anyway Mac to know anything about soccer, so don’t worry about it.
Speaking of which Puke - good 2-2 draw tonight having been 2-0 down early doors. All this draws are going to come back to haunt us later in the season.
Yeah they’re flying at the moment. Sven has them in super form. Yakubu should prove to be a great signing for them. As mentioned before, I’d be happy with defeat in the playoffs as I don’t think we’re good enough to stay in the Premier League next year. Once Becchio, Howson, Snodgrass and the likes stay put we should win the league pulling up next year.
Thought Nani and Giggs were superb myself. Ferdinand back to his best too. United are terrible in midfield though. Carrick, Fletcher and the hapless Anderson all outshone by Makoun. Awful tactics by Houllier I felt. Three players in the midfield that cant tackle. Time for Petrov to go back to the SPL. Ashley Young lost in the hole and up his own hole until late on aswell. Clark really struggled defensively tonight, Dunne was awful for the first goal too but solid
apart from that. JOS struggled when Young went left for the last twenty mins or so too.
First goal was a punt from Van der Saar was it? Didn’t see it just heard a bit of the discussion afterwards. Even in his best form Dunne was prone to the odd error, they’re getting more frequent these days unfortunately. Clark has plenty of improving to do it seems but at least he has goals in him anyway.

Good result tonight, great to see Rooney back in the goals. Now 5 points clear of Arsenal, 9 of City and 10 of Chelski all with the same games played. Utds to lose from here.[/quote]
Wouldn’t agree with that.
United still have a lot of tough fixtures ahead they’ve got City (h), a resurgent Chelsea (a), a resrugent Liverpool (a), Arsenal (a), Chelsea (h).
Notable fixtures for Arsenal include a resurgent Liverpool (h), United (h) and Tottenham (a).
Two near misses in 30 seconds for Liverpool. Great save from a Glen Johnson header for the first, narrow but predictable missed header from Dirk for the second. Suarez jogs down the line just prior to these and raises the biggest cheer of the evening.
