2010 National Hurling League

First two points to Clare, Banville has just replied with one for Wexford

That should have been red for Willie O’Dwyer

Goal for Wexford, Level in Ennis

The Cork forwards have been eaten alive in this half. Gardiner has been the only scoring threat for them.

Great save by the Wexford keeper to force the ball over. Sides level again: 1-20 to 2-17

Diarmuid Lyng causing huge trouble.

edit: Lyng just catches a puckout and fires Wexford ahead again

Waterford 2-15, Limerick 2-7

Outscored 2-11 to 0-3 since the first update I heard.

There must be an issue with fitness

Dublin losing by 6.

Honan levels it in Cusack Park

One minute left

Game ends a draw in Ennis

Colin Ryan put Clare ahead in injury time but Lyng levelled it with a long range free

Lyng man of the match by some distance I hear

Draw in Ennis. 1-22 to 2-19. Long range free by Gizzy with last puck to level it.

Super score by Paudie Sullivan to seal it for Cork

Glorious skill to seal it there by O’Sullivan. See the Cork players were unaware of the new rule at the end and had ample opportunities to knock the ball out of play but didn’t. Good, enjoyable second half there.

Sublime point at the end by Paudie O’Sullivan to clinch it. One of the few good pieces of forward play by Cork in the second half.

The quality was pretty poor in general but it didn’t lack for intensity

Kilkenny’s unforced error rate seems to double or treble in games where the opposition put it up to them physically. They were the same in the Leinster final last year

Morale booster for Cork alright. Must be a while since Kilkenny lost two competitive games in a row. More ammo for a trip to KKCats <_<

Laois 2-19 Antrim 1-12

Great result for ye Mbb, ye seem to be on an upward curve.

That home game to Wexford in round 6 could be a very big one yet

Been saying it for a while, Laois hurling is on an up. We’re coming from a long way back, but we’re coming. To beat Antrim by 10 points in Casement is something we wouldnt have come close to 2 years ago. Rigney and Bro Ryan are doing a fantastic job there, as shown by the fact that they have every top quality hurler in Laois with them now. Wexford in O Moore Park will be the litmus test.

Good to see a former Laois hurler there ripping it up with Na Fianna on the All Ireland Talent Show there.

Thats a fine helmet Donal Óg has.

Was there a time Páirc Úi Chaoimh wasnt a shithole by the way? I mean was there a time when it was a decent stadium in the stands and terraces and on the pitch at the same time? That surface is a fucking disgrace there.
