Clearly Flano and jimmy29 thought that this was actually the great John “Boy” Walton, 2001 World Champion and the man who narrowly lost out to Wolfie this year in one of the greatest matches of all time. jimmy29 actually started up a thread confidently claiming John Boy would be joining the PDC, not realising that the John Walton on the list was a completely different person!
Do you have anyidea what’s going on at all? “Deano” as you call him, has until Thirsday to make his mind up. John David Walton as previously discussed is a confirmed entry. Waites isn’t wanted by the PDC at this time because of comments made by his missus at the Amatuer World Championship. O’Shea is hitting the treadmill before making the move.
Waites and every other BDO player aren’t wanted at the Grand Slam anymore because Barry Hearn doesn’t want to be humiliated by seeing his players get beaten up a stick again by the BDO lads.
Again I’ll say it - it was the PDC who disregarded the Tomlin order after 2001 when they realised they weren’t getting their way - it’s no wonder Wolfie wants nothing to do with Hearn and his spivs.
You are beyond a joke pal. There’s nobody who is interested in darts that has such a fucked up view of the BDO as you do, no one. It’s finished as a darting entity, it’s more a sideshow for Il Crofty and his bigoted minions like Giizzly.
I’m not proud of that post, Flano. I let my hatred of Fordham and all things hunnish get the better of me and lashed out rashly and very immaturely against the BDO. I certainly didn’t mean anything I said but it doesn’t mean I don’t regret it either.
My point on averages shows how rattled I was at the time. You can’t compare different competitions based merely on averages - that would be like saying a certain football league is better than another because more goals are scored in it.
But it’s a false comparison because there’s different dartboards, atmospheres, stage conditions and so many more variables. You can only validly compare by looking at the results of the tournament that included players from both stables and our Scotty Waites is the unification champion. That says it all.
Do you seriously think a tubber like ‘Ady’ Lewis could survive and prosper on the fiery furnace that is the Lakeside stage? He would in his fuck. I maintain that the Lakeside stage takes at least 18 points off Wolfie’s average every year but he remains the top man. Can you imagine how much even the great man would improve if he didn’t wear a beard? It must be hell under those lights.
Look, you’re happy revelling in the hun darts where Barry Hearn has his pals in Unicorn setting their protractors to ‘very generous’ when making the doubles and trebles on their match boards. That’s fine but we’ll continue to support our boys no matter what lies you spout.
