I’m not wrong and I ask you to get your facts straight.Scotty Waites easily accounted for Phil Taylor in the group stages, sealing a facile 5-2 victory.
Van Gerwen beat Taylor & then beat Waites in the knockout stages so i fail to see your point tbh.
For once, Bandage is correct. Waites brushed Taylor aside in the group stages and gave a very good account of himself against MVG in the 1/4 final. He really should make the step up to the PDC after this farce is over.
Of course you fail to see my point given you were wrong and I was right.
Has this Bunting fella a bad attitude?
What a fucking standard this is! Glorious stuff.
Spellbinding stuff indeed.
7 180s already.
Kong defeated Scotty “Dog” Mitchell in the dark match, as expected.
I’m just tuning in for the evening now. Great to see the Dazzler playing top quality stuff. But a pivotal 180 from the Bullet means he’s now favourite to level at 1-1.
Bunting will this and will probably win the thing out too.
But what is his problem? Broody fucker, chest out giving it loads to the crowd after winning a set and fist pumping etc.
Although I’m disappointed for Scotty who is one of the true Lakeside characters, the plus side of his defeat is that we’ll be getting to see a lot more of his expert analysis on ESPN. Kong has taken his time to get to grips with that Lakeside stage over the years but the world average record holder is into new territory now, reaching his first ever quarter-final.
Bunty back to 1-1 and this tie has all the ingredients of a true Lakeside classic.
A sensational 167 finish by Bullet.
167 outshot from the Bullet! He’s well in the groove now. Darryl had a 97 average in the last set but still lost it. That’s the incredible standard we’ve come to expect at the World Pro.
Another 180 and a 167 checkout.
Anyone who prefers the litlle-Englander booze-fest in the “Ally-Pally” needs their brain and their DNA examined.
Very nice 167 kill from Bunting.
Don’t like the way he’s firing away his last dart when he has 2 in the treble 20 though, a bad habit.

[/quote]Well said thraw,cracking game this
Darryl’s starting to perspire under the glare of the Lakeside lights. They say playing at the Lakeside can knock anything between 10 and 20 points off your 3-dart average yet the Dazzler averaged 97 in losing the second set despite his sweating discomfort.
Who does Bunting play next? When is he likely to meet Waites? Anyone got the draw please.
That’s a conservative estimate I’d say such is the pressure.
Clinical from the Bullet to take a 2-1 lead and he now has the darts in this set.
It’s on the BDO website.
