2013 Lakeside World Darts Championships

The winner of this match meets the winner of this evening’s next match between Wesley Harms and Alan Norris. Any of those four players have legitimate hopes of winning the tournament. It’s a quality quarter.

Who says that?

This is some game of darts.

Knowledgeable darts people. Real darts people.

Another cracker on the famous Lakeside stage

67% checkout for bunting cracking stuff

Ah that’s class from the Dazzler. left on 5 he deliberately went for single 3 double 1 rather than single 1 double 2. That’s how confidently he’s playing despite all the pressure, and it’s lovely to see.

I’ve just backed Bunting at 3/1 to win the tournament and would suggest others do likewise, a very fair price.

Doesn’t seem to bother the wimmin too much

Fucking fantastic drama.

He’s shitting himself here Bunting, needs to gather himself.

What a massive moment that could be in the context of this match. That’s the Bullet’s first real mistake and Darryl capitalises on it to level up at 2-2. Strap in the seat belts, folks.

Following last year’s epic final between Christian Kist and Tony O’Shea I vowed that I’d be there at Lakeside this year. With trips to the European Nations Cup and the Olympics in the meantime, sadly it wasn’t possible. But after discussions with a couple of other similarly knowledgeable friends, I’ve pencilled in 2014 as the year I make my Lakeside spectating debut. In fact it would be amazing to get an official TFK trip organised.

Frimley Green is a beautiful little village with some great pubs and I can see myself being right at home there.

Isn’t it marvellous to see a crowd transfixed by the supreme quality of the darts sitting in silence and giving the players the very best of order?

Tremendous 116 out shot by Darryl.

Magic darts from the Dazzler as he takes out 116 to break throw.

Bunting in trouble here

This Bunting clown has fallen apart like a cheap suit.

But the St. Helen’s man is straight back with a maximum.

Early yet.

I’ll say one thing for Fitton he has a lovely, crisp style of throwing.
