Kicks off this weekend in earnest in Leinster with a large number of O Byrne Cup fixtures taking place tomorrow. Laois travel to Tullamore to take on Offaly. Westmeath come to O Moore Park Wednesday and Athlone IT visit on Sunday week.
Offaly winners yesterday over a very experimental Laois side. A 3 point win, but in all honesty, the margin was more than 3 points. Niall McNamee was unplayable and still missed a penalty. Doubt McNulty will be too bothered just yet, no ballwork done, but one or two positives in the return of McMahon and Booth. Few of the bigger names have quite a bit of rust to knock off still though.

Waterford team, not much firepower there although they are fairly close to full strength

Waterford are fucked this year, maybe for a few years as their promising minor side from 2 years ago hasn’t come on anywhere near as expexted, that along with the losses of Molumphy and Mullane puts them right at the arse of the Munster pile!(bar Kerry)
Louth to beat Dublin @ 9/2
Kildare to beat Offaly @ 3/10
UL to beat Waterford in the W/C @ 7/4
UCD to beat Laois in the Walsh Cup @ 4/9
The 4 in an accum pays 27/1. Louth is a good price too considering they are at home & on a good run of form so far so well worth a punt on their own too.
The Hurling double looks tempting also @ just under 3/1.
