Certain celeb friends of mine reckons Wexford hurlers are back. Can someone who watched the game confirm this?
Anthony daly always was and always will be a knob-end

Back from the stores after last night possibly but as hurling contenders, the answer would have to be no for now.
Daly is an alright sort, probably found out as a hurling coach though…
Offaly to play well for first half. Kilkenny to pull away in second half to beat handicap, helped by the fact that Offaly will be reduced to 14 men when either Kevin Brady or Ger Healion get sent off. Richie Power man of match.
Paul kelly at wing back to eoin kelly in the corner were the worst i ever saw fot that…every fookin ball paul got was driven in …mind you eoin was probably the best hurler in ireland at the time…but still, he wasn´t in the best position for a pass every single time…
Daly should have left Dublin two years ago with a massive reputation for having brought them on so much.
Teaching English, hopefully. Will probably end up in Thailand though.
In fairness he was hardly going to walk away after winning a league title and getting very close to an A/I final appearance. It has been downhill since then and they have stagnated. His rep has certainly diminished over the last 18 months.
In Daly’s defence, they have nothing coming through.
Fair play, a nice life in these places if you play the cards right, and if not its still a great experience. Enjoy
Referee was shocking last night…didn´t have a clue what was going on…the amount of third man tackling in wexford full back line was a joke…ryan o dwyer got a shoulder to the face that left him seeing stars and claret everywhere but the ref decides to throw in the ball…wexford keeper picking the ball off the ground when it was on the goal line only for him to be awarded a free…wexford corner back should have got the line for a clear pull on mccormack off the ball…the dublin goal shouldn´t have stood as schutte dropped the hurley…the equalising free looked like the wexican forward just charged straight at dublin defender…
Chin reminded me of timmy mcarthy last night- great soloing speed but terrible shooting …the amount of ball dublin backs cleared blindly up the field was criminal…not even a look up…usually staright to a wexican…
Dublin look like a team totally flogged…they have no zip whatsoever…people talk about tradition but there´s something in it…Dublin haven´t got an ounce of cuteness…they´ll always have the fitness and shoot a dozen wides but they´ll never have the know how of the kilkenny, tipps, corks, galways…it even goes down through the ranks…you see dublin get to minor finals only to be beaten by a team who score goals against them…
I mean you look at that young wexford keeper making his debut last night…first half sun in his face,he should have been tested early and often…if that was kk they would have targeted him from the off…Dublin barely created 2 goal chances in the whole game…this team has always sruggled for goals…it was why i was glad to see keaney at ff in the paper team…i thought they would have lobbed ball into him…
daly having a laugh on sideline with minute ot two to go says it all…i´d say he can´t wait for year to end…still think they´ll beat wexford in parnell though…wouldn´t fancy them against the winners of offaly/kilkenny though…
They have a lot of solid hurlers but aside from Rushe and Keaney they lack real quality. It doesn’t help that neither Rushe or Keaney are played in settled positions and there does seem to be a lack of continuity. The decision making of some of their players yesterday and against Clare last summer really was shocking though
He later consulted with his umpire and gave a free in which Dublin pointed
also great to see liam dunne come out and say they´d like to play in croker…any intercounty player worth his salt wants to play in croker …there´s hurlers from donegal who have played in croker twice as many times as wexford hurlers over last few years…
thats not the point…he totally missed it even though it happened in front of him…
Is English not the national language there?
It is indeed Rocko, which is why I’ll probably end up in Thailand.
Jez you mean you actually heard something through that PA system!!?? You cant hear anything over the uncovered stand. Have you an influence to sort that out Bandage?
