:o
Still no back door in Dublin SFC?
Wasnt Conor Deegan over Crokes this year?
What a stupid system allowing a team be knocked out in May.
Why? Championship is championship, or champo as MBB would say.
+1. Absolute bullshit.
Wins also for Raheny (aet) and Ballyboden this evening.
Last night saw Vincents, Ballymun, Lucan and Skerries Harps progress.

Great to see those Peregrine cunts beaten
What’s the thinking behind the dublin SFC format?
It seems to be “we don’t give a fuck about the clubs”
It gives the Kilmacud Crokes players time to concentrate on their counties.
What kind of name is St. Peregrines? Sounds like something you put on toast when there’s no butter left.
Apart from the cynical replies what is it though?
I’d imagine a certain extent of it is because the the final can drag into November if Dublin reach the All-Ireland, as it did in 2011. and the elimination of a back door eliminates an extra round.
Mind you, the final was in November last year too even without a back door.
@thedancingbaby - how did Naomh Olaf go against Ballymun?
Ballymun won well - 1-18 to 1-6 or thereabouts.
Ballymun will win it out imo
There’s a “B” championship for beaten first round teams, not that the likes of Crokes will give a shit about that
All and sundry in Malahide have backed Maurs to beat St Sylvesters this evening.
Maurs opened up @ 9/4 but that price is long gone.
My pals in Malahide tell me they’ll be doing well to win any league or championship game this year due to the amount of country cousins they have lost since last year

ballymun will take stopping alright…only fault might be a bit short in forward line … its between them and brigids I think… very hard for Vincents to go again after winning AI…
why?..
Heard they gave a good account of themselves considering the supposed gulf in class.
Paul Brogan was throwing slaps all round him in the Kilmacud Plunketts game. Seems to be the black sheep in the Brogan clan. Will get his comeuppance somewhere down the line. Deegan will be seething at this knockout given he wrote a mini thesis on the club schedule last year.
