Any score from the Castlegar v Kinvarra match?
Cashel won by 2

Just back… didn’t deserve it.

We’re the kings of relegation battles… roll on October and slow ground!

Zach Touhy came on and scored 2-3 to get Portlaoise out of a sticky situation today. They had trailed Portarlington by 8 in 1st half.

2-4, 2 '45’s into the bargain, good to that dogshit of a game hasn’t seen him completely give up kicking about with the round ball. Tough on Port though, hard to know what to make the whole thing tbh.
Conor Gormley’s Carrickmore will take on Joe McMahon’s Omagh in the Tyrone Championship final.

Imagine Omagh will be heavy favourites, they have six county panelists in the two McMahons, Ronan O’Neill, Tierney, Grugan and Clarke although Clarke will miss the final as he recovers from surgery on his cruciate. It’s 26 years ago since Omagh last won the title.
Carrickmore 0-8 - 0-6 Omagh HT

Been listening to this on the radio, Gormley and Penrose seem to be running the show for Carrickmore.

Omagh have won it in injury time with a Ronan O’Neill goal.

Omagh 1-10 - 0-11 Carrickmore

Crossmaglen will probably win the whole thing out. Savage competition in Armagh.

Which of you attacked Paul Galvin?

Lots of activity at the business end in the Connacht counties today:
Aughawillan win first Leitrim title in 20 years, beating holders Mary’s of Carrick by three

Ballintubber and Castlebar yet again in the Mayo final - Tubber beat Knockmore 9-11 to 2-12!

Corofin hockeyed Milltown in Galway and St Michaels and Barna meet again

Brigid’s into the Roscommon final again beating Western Gaels

Mary’s and Tubbercurry qualify to rekindle the dark days of the late 70’s & 80’s in the Sligo final, and for the 25th time in a row the reigning champions can’t put titles back to back.

Who would Ballintubber have from the county team?

Some Roaster from Kilmoyley attacked Paul Galvin during the Kerry County Hurling final today. Match drawn,

Rhode and Edenderry into Offaly football final if anybody cares. Rhode beat only other realistic contenders, Clara in semis.

Hurling semi next week between 3 in a row chasing Kilcormac Killoughy and resurgent Coolderry should be good next weekend. Seir Kieran, led by Joe Bergin, should beat St Rynagh’s Banagher in other semi.

Rathdowney Errill beat Camross out the gate today in O’Moore Park, 1-20 to 0-10. They’ve now won titles in 06, 08, 10, 12 and 14 and are currently managed by Conor Gleeson. 17 year old Mark Kavanagh scored 1-5 for Rathdowney Errill, he’s a great prospect if a little small. Ross King and Paddy Purcell stood out also for the winners.

Be nice to see them give Leinster a good go now, think they have the Dublin winners away in the first round.

Cillian O’Connor and Alan Dillon anyway, not sure of others. Four O’Connor brothers shared in their nine goals.
