The commentator on Galway Bay FM nearly had a fit when he came on.
Wait, you listened to the commentary on Galway Bay FM of the Galway Intermediate Football Final?
Was in the Gaelic Grounds. First game was a good one. Doon led for most of the first half and for a lot of a game where there was never more than 2 points between the teams. Kilmallock looked the more composed in the late stages and got a penalty with a minute to go when a point down. Eoin Ryan tapped it over and it looked a nailed on draw but young Robbie Hanley put Kilmallock ahead and Ryan tapped another free after it was given where the ball landed after a late pull on a Kilmallock defender who was clearing the ball. Doon had a late 21-yard free that they had to go for goal from. Cathal McNamara had already had a penalty saved by Barry Hennessy and this one was saved also. Kilmallock 0-18 Doon 0-16

The second match is barely worthy of comment, it was so bad. Ahane took an early lead, Willie O’Donoghue teed up Shane Dowling for a goal for Na Piarsaigh to go 2pts ahead and it was a procession after that. Ahane were stonewall fucking abysmal and Na Piarsaigh will have learned nothing. Na Piarsaigh 4-20 Ahane 0-8.
Very fair assessment, felt sorry for Doon at the end, absolutely nothing between the teams whole way through the game. Na Piarsiagh didn’t have to get out of 2nd gear against Ahane.

How did Stafford not walk for that double pull, right in front of the ref? Horrible dirty cunt. Should be banned.

Two bad belts. Very lucky not to get a straight red, for either of those pulls.

Cuntish post.

Apologies to external viewers for Clare co final , worst I can remember

Munster club hurling draw.

Ballygunner v Cratloe - Waterford venue. Winners will be at home to the Tipp champions in the first semi final.

Kilmallock/Na Piarsaigh v Sarsfields/Glen Rovers in the other semi final at a Limerick venue.

Na Piarsaigh will take alot of stopping.

I’ve seen most of their games this year, they’ve barely broken sweat but strolled into the county final. Going through the motions a lot of the time but when they hit one of their purple patches they are devastating.

I don’t know if it was just today but Kilmallock looked way off having a chance of beating Na Piarsiagh in two weeks time. GOM looked like he was carrying a hand injury, POB’s first touch for the most part was poor and while Mulcahy worked hard, he never stood out really.

The game was very stop start with injuries/frees etc but Na Piarsiagh’s demolition in the 2nd half of the Mackey crowd does not bode well for the final.

At Junior level as well

We haven’t a hope.

Well Fagan was calling DLS and BG cunts last week so I suppose I was keeping the theme going

Utterly abysmal fare in Ennis today.
Cratloe just did what they needed to do without firing at all, just bossed the middle of the field and kept it away from Cian Dillon.
Crusheen were bad beyond belief.

It made me sad, Sam.

Unique Cork football finals with Ballincollig and Carbery Rangers having easy wins over city teams Bishopstown and Nemo respectively.

Na Piarsaigh who just got relegated to Div 4 have made the Premier Intermediate Final against Valley Rovers. Valleys are a cunt of a club so I hope they lose, but it’s a poor reflection on this years Premier competition if Na Piarsaigh win.

Rockchapel wait in the final of Intermediate A to play either Eire Og or Fermoy. Ciaran Sheehan is back for Eire Og.

Millstreet await either Ballygarvan or De Barr’s in the Junior A final.

A lot of unexpected or new teams in those finals, but very direct links to recent underage success.

Mount Leinster Rangers losing was entirely predictable. They’d been well beaten by Myshall and St Mullins in the round robin league stages and only scrapped into the semi finals. Nine consecutive final appearances, a number of long winter campaigns culminating in last year’s run all the way through to St Patrick’s Day have taken a heavy toll. They’ve looked jaded all season.

I take it the surprise is at the high jinks in the other game and the scale of the Bagenalstown implosion?

I was talking about the Munster and All Ireland, the county final will only be a warm up for them.On a side note those Ahane wankers were all in Phil Flannerys tonight bawling, roaring and breaking glasses, the biggest shower of yobs ive ever seen they didn’t half get what they deserved Sunday the cunts.
