OâGara is on now.
Dublin doing some retarded things here.
@Any Dublin fans out there, Jason Whelan, the names familiar, what sort of high jinks is he known for?
Dublin have blown enough chances to be level by now.
Who is the no.24 for Dublin?
He is fucking useless.
O Gara has been a revelation since his introduction.
McManamon has been shocking. Both he and OâGara are much better coming off the bench.
Cork lead by 8 at half time.
Dublin have probably been the better team but their forward line have been doing some retarded things when they have got the ball in scoring positions and at the other end Hurley is ripping Dublin apart whenever they get the ball in to him, which hasnât happened too much in the last 20 minutes of the first half.
its Cork 2-9 Dublin 0-7, thatâs two goals and nine points for cork and only seven points for dublin, cork are leading by eight points thanks to those two early goals
the shot by Brian Hurley AND THE POINT by Brian Hurley
God be with the days when players used a 2 on 1 to create a goal chance instead of fucking fisting it over the bar.
McAuley should go play rugby.
#curseoftotti
That doesnât make any sense.
McMemanman is a horribly annoying player.
28K, not all that far off. Jokeshop.
Dublin hitting a groove now.
Tommy Carr exceeded his own world record for the amount of utter fucking rĂĄmĂŠis spoken by a co-commentator, during todayâs match between Mayo and Derry. I was in the car earlier and I tuned in to this game on radio 1, about five minutes before half time. I didnât know the score at the time but just as I tuned in Mayo scored a point, to which Tommy commented, âwell that gives Mayo a commanding lead, maybe not on the scoreboard but certainly on the fieldâ. I wasnât quite sure what to make of this rather contradictory statement, but concluded that Mayo must have a lead of 3-4 points but probably should be leading by 7 or 8 points. Shortly after, Derry went down the field and scored a point, and to my amazement the commentator announced, they had leveled the game up at 1-05 apiece!
Mayo quickly broke down the other end of the field and scored a point to take another commanding one point lead. Tommy then went into overdrive in the bullshit stakes by commenting that the difference between the two teams was that it was taking Mayo only 3-4 seconds to get a score whereas it was taking Derry approximately 15 seconds. Is it possible to make any sense of that statement, especially in the context of the match he was commenting on and the score of the match at the timeâŚItâs certainly beyond my admittedly somewhat limited mathematical, and indeed, intellectual capabilities, but then again, there are very few of us on the same wavelength as Tommy Carr.
Cork 2-12 Dublin 1-11. 51 minutes played.
OâGara winning everything thatâs going into him now.
2-13 to 1-14. '58.
