Dublin’s backs have been absolutely immense. O’Sullivan might be restricted with an injury but he’s playing his role very intelligently.
Ya Gooch should be gone with 15 mins.poor management t not to pull him. Cooper clearly destroying him.
Hunger and desire is everything though and Dublin have it in spades.
Bring on Walsh & Donaghy, put Geaney no.11 and bring Galvin to the wing. Galvin will deliver good ball as will Geaney.
It’s a way of attacking a Dublin weakness.
However the extra game really seems to have helped the dubs.
Cooper is marking O’Donoghue.
McMahon is marking Gooch.
The Dublin backs not only defend well, they are all great footballers. And fit as fuck.
Knackers one or two of them all the same.
Great spread of scorers from Dublin in fairness.
Every defence needs a knacker or two or maybe six.
Spillane is great. He’s as neutral as Isis.
That’s a winning lead in those conditions.
Fionn Fitzgerald getting roasted.
I hope Kev’s gem of a post saying Kerry were deliberately employing a tactic of kicking the ball wide is not overlooked here.
FFS.
Either way. Both being well beaten
Intriguing but slightly disappointing so far. Dublin look to be making more handling errors, Brogan in particular which suggests their problems might be easier to sort out. Kerry struggling a bit with how defensive they need to be. The price they pay for being aggressive on Cluxton is they look like they’re struggling with the tempo now and offered no attacking threat for the last 15.
Kerry +4 at 10/11 now looks a great bet.
O’Se will come in for Fitzgerald at half time. If Fitzmaurice is as ruthless as they say then Gooch will be hooked at half time.
Cooper needs to be hauled off. Nothing like the same player since the injury.
O’se presumably injured - hamstring. Can he come in?
Darren O Sullivan on
McManamon on. Lovely.
Never switch a horse in midstream lads.
