Very straightforward win. Kerry were dreadful.
Outrageously naive to allow the chance from the throw ball near the end but otherwise Kerry offered no real threat at all.
The difference the "off-form players on both teams made was significant. Brogan had a fairly miserable day on the ball but put in a power of work winning it back and HD some great steals. Rock was about as effective on the ball in general play as he usually is but he was far more involved than he usually is. Compare that to Gooch and Buckley and the likes.
Thought the half forward line was terrific. Connolly was excellent in the second half, the other 2 won so much ball throughout. And obviously the defence was so effective. Ballsy from Gavin to take off McCaffrey (possibly head knock?) and Cooper but everyone who played was very comfortable.

Not worth the hassle. It is an amateur game after all.
Fitzmaurice is not the messiah he is proclaimed to be. A manager who has relied on huge slices of luck.

Kerry have to sort out a 3 & a 6, they may have a transition for 2 to 3 years but seem to have a conveyor belt of young players coming in
Cian O’Neill with all his science trained a Kerry team that gassed mid way through first half

Thought Fenton and Connolly were dublins best players today. B brogan was awful. I’d say that is one of the worst games I have ever seen him play.

You’ll get that.it was their most complete performance of the year, which is a credit to everyone involved. They rode their luck against mayo, but yet another indication of how playing more competitive games is better for you.which makes you wonder why most of ulster is still shit.
