Who was your MOTM?
Cooper’s early substitution will probably go against him.
I felt Connolly was immense in the second half, he’s a Rolls Royce of a footballer.

Philly McMahon is like a lad who just acts the cunt for the craic.
Sticking his finger into Donaghy’s eye was dumb in the extreme. And pointless too.
Philly McMahon is the new Ricey.

the gahliban cant stand it that a LOI kit man is their best player
Some very random points from today.
Dublin were the better team, and should have had a couple of goals. They were better than the 3 point win they got.
I thought the ref gave Dublin a few favorable calls. One were I think Geany looked like he was clearly fouled, and Dublin went down and scored. It went from a score that should have been 7-5 to a score that was 8-4. Fine margins in a game like that.
Was Donaghy denied a clear penalty? It looked so from my veiwpoint, I thought Carroll had a clear hold of him and pulled him back, but maybe the both of them were at it?
Philly McMahon should be a nominee for player of the year. He had an immense game again today. defensively he completed nullified Gooch. And on the ball he was a constant outlet and used it extremely well.
McMahon took cute hoorism to a new level today. He would hold Gooch by the shoulders with his back to the ball, but was looking at the big screen to see where the ball was.
In spite of that, I dont like McMahon. Not for the way he plays, as you always need a player like that. But he is a constant whingy fuck. He’ll pull and drag and hit, but if anyone dares touch him, he’ll bitch and moan for ages. He was pulling out of Cooper for ages, and then Dublin won the ball and he went running, and Gooch pulled his jersey. He spent the next 60 seconds roaring at the linesman, and it got so bad the linesman went in to the field to talk to him to tell him to play on. If you’re going to be a dirty cunt, you have to accept it. Crying like a baby doesnt suit his game.
I’ve heard he was involved with eye gouging? Wouldnt surprise me, but wasnt noticeable from where I was.
McCaffrey should win MOTM and POTY. His use of the ball was excellent today. Pure athlete, but great skills. Connolly would be my other MOTM selection. got through a huge amount of work. They’ll probably put in a token Kerry man, Maher or Walsh I’d say.
Brogan was scutter today. And O Donohoe and Gooch were as bad, but at least Brogan showed for the ball.
Paddy Andrews had an excellent game. Took on his man, and in spite of everyone else around him fumbling and losing possession easily, he was very sure handed.
That was Paul Flynns best game this year. A great time to show up.
Kerrys subs were odd. Gooch should have been taken off, and same for O Donohoe. Tommy Walsh was still warming up like a man possessed with 5 minutes to go. Seemed odd.
Was surprised at how little niggling and off the ball stuff the Kerry full back line use. Rarely if ever were pulling or dragging. In particular AOM. Thought he would be at that more. The Dublin full back line in contrast were all over their men. and I dont mean that as a negative on them, you do what you must to win.
O Carroll and Donaghy were booked for a nothing incident. McMahon in that one went running to the umpire like a bitch again, but O Carroll didnt even flinch and made absolutely nothing of it.
I hate cunts who ring someone else in the ground to see where they are. “Stand up there, what colour jumper are you wearing. Can you see me, I’m directly over from the supervalu sign. Can you see me now? I’m waving my arm now. Well, hows it going, talk to you later.” fuck off you gobshites.
Cluxton is a great keeper, and I always he got far too much praise for his kickouts. I always felt it was a team tactic and his kicks were reliant on the team creating the space and making the run. Kerry showed him up badly today when the runs and tactics were stopped and he was left to a raw kick. Still a great kick on the ball, but felt he got far too much praise for a system play that relied more on others than the actual kick.
Was a good atmosphere today considering it was poor conditions and a poor enough game.
It was a poor year in hurling and football. Really poor. Fuck all games of note.
Just reading this thread and it’s clear there’s some seriously odd cunts on TFK.
Dublin were comfortable winners and the margin should have been greater.
Coldrick had a very fine game and gimps whining about the referee all the time is incredibly boring.
Kerry players seemed to be the ones doing all the whinging, Cooper in particular was tiresome.
a load of them were whinging on both sides. My issue with McMahon is that he complains about what he does to others. wants it both ways. I didnt notice cooper moaning that much because he was rarely around the ball.
gman seething that the lad who mows the grass for SRFC is the toughest and most skillful gga player
Its getting boring now Nembo.
The Staters don’t like it up em!
It was boring a long time ago mate but you have to admire the commitment.
Ah yea but it reminds me of that nagging child in the Supermarket who wont give up until the parent gives in.
Simple fact. Tyrone had their chance. They had 4 goal chances. They shit their togs. Move on Roy. Let it go Louis. @nembokid is just acting the clown now
Say what you like but @Nembo_Kid called Dublin as winners last week and his in-match analysis and comments were spot on today too. You can’t stand him because he shows you weak free staters up.

read the all ireland thread, he is the one poster who called it right time after time
I actually thought Connolly was relatively poor today. Got dispossessed / gave it away a fair bit. Not sure if it showed up on telly but he also failed to give the pass on a few occasions when players were in plenty of space.
I genuinely couldnt give a fuck who wins the bogball competition. And yea youre right he called Dublin and was spot on but fuckin hell the semi between Kerry and Tyrone was a month ago now.
maybe so pal. I thought he won back a good bit of ball, and he controlled a lot of the play and steadied things down a bit, was comfortable in possession.
Cian O Sullivan is a very good leader too. Dictated his defence and was really good in covering positions and directing team mates.
He was better in the second half but was guilty of taking the ball into contact too often all game. His class still showed on occasion but he was third best on that half forward line.
Agreed with your other point on the ref. He seemed to miss one on Geaney near half time that @Gman and others referenced but otherwise he was largely faultless. The “penalty incident” wasn’t close to being a penalty.
MOTM?
Dublin full back line was superb. McMahon won’t get MOTM because Mother Theresa McStay is on the panel.
McCaffrey was brilliant but was only on the pitch for 49 minutes. Cian O’Sullivan was really good for his hour too.
Fenton had a very prominent game and Flynn had his best game of the year and chipped in with two crucial second half points. Andrews roasted Fitzgerald but wasn’t given enough ball in the second half.
A tough one but I’d go for McMahon.
