I’ve come around to the @thedancingbaby and Jim McGuinness view that an expertly formulated and executed Monaghan game plan only barely got over the line against a Donegal team with some big players underperforming. I think they’ll bounce back this year, as opposed to 2013. Despite Lacey’s injury, the two McHughs and McFadden were very good the last day and Gallagher battled manfully. Murphy won’t be as bad again McBrearty is in smashing form. I think they’ll win by 4 or 5.

Exactly what I think Bandage. Having (at your behest) correctly diagnosed how Donegal would beat Dublin last year and that Kerry would revive the long ball into Donaghy my only worry is that I foresaw this Donegal team falling away under Gallagher with drink being mentioned as a possible factor. If only I gave out gambling tips.
