Did I say I valued Horan’s opinion? I merely highlighted another high profile manager who disagrees with the hypothesis that the six day turnaround was a mitigating factor for Cork.
I knew posting that McGuinness article would lead to all sorts of arguments. Lovely.
If people don’t think the 6 day turn around affected Cork than they are jack asses.
If people think it was the reason they lost then they are deranged. Cork lost because they are a spineless lot with no leader on the pitch. That performance would never have happened a serious team in Cork’s position. It was gutless and spineless and indicative of Cork over the past few years.
It was also a 7 day turnaround.
You are a clueless clown. Kerry will come out kick the ball around like the northern crowds dream of in second gear and still bait that shite Kildare lot by ten points. They’ve barely trained yet this year they’ll beat all the northern teams handy this year and shut you up for good. They’ve no interest in anything only peaking for the middle of August to September. Cork got fucked by the fixtures it seems to happen two teams every year in the football. Needs to be rectified.
Yes. You used it to back up your opinion. That’s certainly showing you value his opinion. Even your weak mind can see that. Wake up child.
Horam has a serious problem with cork since roman macs cynical comments last year.
Get with the program
It’s strange how Kerry’s greatest player of the past 15 years always shits his pants against an Ulster side, isn’t it? Kerry are well used to having other counties have their bellies tickled by them and roll over but that doesn’t happen to the same degree with the Ulster sides. How many times did Tyrone crush them in Croke Park? Down did, Donegal did it, Armagh did, Monaghan should have done it. It was a traumatic experience for Kerry.
So why was he praising them and saying they would win comfortably in the build up to the game?
No, it’s not saying I value his opinion at all. But he has been one of the top managers about in the past few years and he completely disagrees with that assertion of the six day turnaround - whether I value his opinion or not is a moot point.
Brian Cuthbert has stepped down as Cork senior football manager.
wouldnt be surprised if the lillywhites beat kerry at the weekend
I wouldn’t be surprised if Kildare beat kerry at the weekend.
I wouldn’t be surprised if kerry beat Kildare at the weekend.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a very tight game. A draw is not out of the question.
Posting nimby stylie.
Fucking Kildare
Kerry could well beat Kildare by 15 points. They will have been suitably jolted for the Munster finals and they now have incredible competition for places. Kerrys Midfield will at least break even and those Kildare backs against even 4 or 5 forwards (as opposed to Corks 2) won’t handle Kerry.
The context of the game between Cork and Kildare needs to be remembered. Kildare have some nice forwards and 2 emerging midfielders but jesus they’ll never get the time and space again they did last week.
They could get destroyed against a fresh hungry Kerry team, I see the 7 point spread being comfortably hit.
I expect Kerry to play unimpressively enough and win by about 6/7 points.
Problem, bro?
Kerry’s performance against a poor Cork side should not be taken out of context.
He’s betting on them to beat Kerry, having seen them twice and highlights what they’ve beaten since I reiterate what I said.
