@gman btw did you listen to Logan on Game On, Flynn goes for him a few times and Logan barely, and I mean barely, prevents the mask from slipping. I’d say he was seething.
He caressed the ball to Donaghy in the middle of the goal on the 21 yard line. He wasn’t forced to do that.

Kerry ’ s tactic of switching Donaghy out to find space for geaney inside works well. Superb catch turn and shot from the man. No luck involved.

Yeah they were. Having foreseen how they would beat them (as outlined on here) I was kicking myself for not taking the price.

Stop making excuses. You bullishly tipped Donegal to win, they didn’t. You got it wrong (yet again). Deal with it. You’re just displaying sour grapes now.
But he had other options.
Of course he was forced. He had decided not to go long so a pin point short kick was only option. Donaghy and Kerry midfield forced that tactic in the first place. Then they turned the screw.
Kerry dedication to what they did in training was more absolute and better prepared than Donegal. That was the difference.
