so you are also now arguing against rules because you dont think the refs are doing it right. Still, after 2 years of the rule you still havent grasped it and think everyone else is wrong.
why would Kerry have gone for goals when they were in front? Or does that not suit your other agenda trying to argue against facts.
Advantage
Advantage Rule is defined as:
“When a foul is committed the referee may allow the play to continue if he considers it to be to the advantage of the offended team. He shall signal that advantage by raising an arm upright. If he deems no advantage to have occurred, he may subsequently award a free for that foul from where it occurred*. The referee shall allow the advantage to run by maintaining his arm in the upright position for up to five seconds after the initial foul or for less time if it becomes clear that no advantage has accrued. He shall apply any relevant disciplinary action.”
It pretty much is a free shot rule on that reading
I think its safe to say the Tyrone player @Mac was referring to simply didnt back himself. That can happen in a big game. Not everyone is able for the big moments.
I’m not the one who hasn’t grasped it - you are. It’s not a free shot rule, do you not understand that? It’s an advantage rule. If the advantage is played and the chance is spurned then that should be that. Unbelievable how you still not grasping it.
This has been coming for a while, I predicted the meltdown for Wednesday after Kerry set fire to them, but I didn’t take into account he’d start immediately after the game on Sunday and not go for a few pints like most normal folk.
