2015 All Ireland Football Championship - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE IT STOP

Maybe so.

But, if you take the field lines like so…

GK - much the same
FB Line - much the same
HB Line - advantage Kerry
MF - advantage Kerry
HF line - much the same
FF line - advantage Kerry

Kerry look to have better options on the line too. Gavin looked flawed today looking at Flynn, Cooper & Rock for as long as he did. Fitzmaurice is a shrewd cunt & won’t suffer fools for as long as Gavin did today.

That’s a clamping.

Mayo’s tactic of a big floating inaccurate high kick into an area where O Shea was deserves massive ridicule. Dumb as shit. And to add further embarrassment was their tactic of only having one supporting player inside the 45, so all Dublin had to do was break it if it got anywhere near him, even though more times than not it was no where near O Shea anyway.

Oh ya. It’s not going to be a steamroller or anything, but I believe alot in match ups and some teams are suited to others. How do your strengths match up?

Reasons Kerry should win:
•Kerry should win midfield battle comfortably
•They are brilliant on opposition kickouts
•They are now as fit as any team in the game, Dublin don’t have an advantage there anymore
•Fitzmaurice is better at match ups
•Kerry have better subs
•Kerry are more adaptable mid-game
•Dubs don’t have the backs for all kerry forwards

Reasons Dubs should win
•The half forward line could destroy Kerry’s half backs if they have a good day.
•The one major Kerry weakness, being run at thru middle, is a major Dublin strength

Dublin have significant players put of form, consistently like Flynn and Connolly. 2 weeks is short enough time to adjust that. Flynn was again pretty ineffective today.

Is that the sport over for the weekend?

Keeper time wasting killed mayo intensity. Hadn’t got his second glove on by the time 13245€678889°qpppoóoppllkjfsaxfb

There is no doubt brogan over carried. Undebatable.

I agree Dublin created more, but again all after a mayo collapse. Something kerry won’t do

Ya, that was mindless and just pure stubbornness

How Gavin manages that group now for the next 2 weeks is key. The week long Connolly side show clearly affected the player today. Some players seemed excessively wound up ala Cooper & McMahon throughout. Mayo to their limited credit are hugely physical & the hits on Dublin over the 2 games will surely take their toll IMO.

Maybe, but he was clearly fouled too I thought.

Connolly was clearly distracted alright.

Cooper looked to be a bit hot-headed with the SOS incident but other than that seemed fine. McMahon was a lot calmer than last week. Couple of minor things but he generally put himself about well and certainly he was as influential in an attacking sense as he was destructive.

O’Sullivan’s injury might be crucial.

The back chat in general throughout the first half was petty & smacked of lads being excessively wound up which is not a trait of a Gavin team.

If fairness he sorted that issue at HT as their foul count ( petty lazy fouls esp ) seemed a lot lower in the second half.

Yep, fair point.

Do you not think mcmahon feigned injury yet again in the build up to the mayo goal?

Cillian O’Connor was shit, two good scores but woeful from open play. O’Shea is a brilliant footballer but lacks the intelligence to fully reach his potential.

Huge gap between the inside forward lines, Dublin have a lethal one, Mayo have a poor one. Kilkenny is a Rolls Royce of a footballer. Dublin very deserving winners.

Ciliian O Connor was very good today you weirdo

It’s possible of course but I doubt it. He got a hand around his face. It could have been a finger in his eye (accidental). The ball was there and it would seem beyond stupid to just collapse away from it. I know what I’m inviting in that, I just don’t think he’s that stupid.

He was shit, the whole Mayo forward line was shit.

Dublin had too much class, if one lad doesnt perform someone else will, like andrews did today. The glaring exception being rock here. Black card killed mayo as parsons was left on his own and all mcauley had to do was break it off him and dublin swept up. Hes hit and miss though, possible midfield weakness and the fall from grace of flynn would sway you towards kerry.

You’ve a serious horn for O’Connor.
