11 darter for Duzza to clinch a 3-1 lead. They’ll be on their feet watching back at the North Ormsby Working Men’s Club.
Duzza is my tip to win it out.
He’s playing truly world class darts. 99 average tonight which would translate to about 116 on a Unicorn board.
That’s better from the Dazzler. He sweeps set 6 to trail 2-4.
Five legs in a row for Darryl since the break and he’s just knocked in an 11 darter. Is an unlikely comeback on?
Two legs in a row for Duzza and Darryl must hold throw.
Duzza.
Duzza wins but so fitting that the Dazzler’s last three darts should be a 180 - a tribute to his tremendous fighting spirit.
Duzza shows how much it means for him to make the semis right there.
It would be a tremendous tribute to Duzza’s great friend and county colleague, the late, great Phill Nixon, if he could win the title. Thy may not be mining coal up in the North East anymore, but Duzza is certainly mining a rich seam of form at the moment. Lovely words for Darryl Fitton in his post match interview as well. A real touch of class.

Any player worth their salt would go either :
T20 D4
T12 D16[/QUOTE]
It’s quite simple. If you miss the treble and hit a single you still have a shot at bull
Disagree assuming you have three darts. So you miss T18 hitting single 18 and then thrown for bull, with a dart remaining in your hand? No dart player would do that. No dart player worth his salt would do that. I think T20 D4 is optimal route. Even if you strayed into the 1 with the first dart you can still salvage with a single 17 then bull.

And if you hit the 25 with your second dart…

The great Martin Adams has the heads of some posters in a spin here. Superb mind games from the legendary England captain.
The oi oi oi mob are rattled.
