Smithy nudges ahead 2-1.
Serious question.
Why would you go T18 D7 when left on 68 ?
Adams was probably pissed, he can afford to act the goat when he’s playing glorified county players like Montgomery. I wouldn’t try and seek logic in their antics, the commentator in this game just said 161 is not a finish. None of them have a fucking clue.
Clutch from The Silencer. Finishes 160 against the throw in the deciding leg of set 4 with Robbie sitting on a handy two darter. He leads 3-1. Robbie is stunned.
Huge deciding leg in set 5. now.
And Jeff takes it to lead 4-1! Robbie broke throw to lead 2-1 in that set but The Silencer broke straight back and closed it out. The Canadian is remaining cooler on the sweltering Lakeside stage than a chilled can of Molson.
Smithy wins! A 5-1 demolition! Sensational darts from the Canadian debutant as he takes his fourth match of the tournament. This is the very essence of the BDO. A previously unheard of player comes out nowhere and beats some of the very best players in the world. What a story.
Fallon Sherrock takes the first set in the ladies’ semi-final against Anastasia Dobromyslova.
Ana hits back to level at 1-1. Tony Martin shouting his head off in support for his wife.
Fallon takes the first leg of the decider. If she wins this title I can see her winning BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
Fallon moves 2-1 ahead in the decider. She’s a 180 machine. Has hit five so far.
Fallon wins!
Fallon Sherrock receives what is perhaps the biggest ovation any player has got at the Lakeside since Bobby George after his legendary 1994 semi-final win over Magnus Caris.
Amazing scenes at the end as with three darts at 32, she somehow thought she was on 38 and went for single 6. This left her on 26 but she duly hit double 13 with her next dart to break throw and win the decider 3-1.
Fallon is fresh face for the female final. At just 20 she has the world at her feet.
Endless farce at the Lakeside
The Dazzler vowing to come out all guns blazing as he attempts to go one step beyond the quarter-finals.

Great tip from me
1-1 at the first break in the final quarter-final.
Could history repeat itself 21 years on? An unseeded Canadian was World Champion on debut at the Lakeside in 1994.
144 outshot for Duzza to go 2-0 up in set 3.
This is simply superb darts.
Interesting insight into Duzza’s preparation from Vassos there. The Middlesbrough man played an extensive series of nine set matches against county players under simulated Lakeside conditions. That’s really professional preparation and shows that the principles of sports science have well and truly made their entrance to the great game of darts, at least in the BDO.
Glen Durrant is going to be very hard beaten in this tournament. The North of Ireland Open champion has broken Darryl Fitton in set 4 and leads 2-1 in both legs and sets.
